Brand Warrior x the AOI

Nicola from Brand Warrior needed visuals for her Association of Illustrators talk, a session designed to help mid-career illustrators rediscover their direction through 8 strategic steps, framed as climbing a metaphorical mountain.

The challenge: turn this abstract framework into an engaging visual journey that would resonate with creatives feeling lost or uncertain.

The visuals became the thread connecting each part of Nicola's talk, helping illustrators see their own path reflected in the climb.

The work blended Brand Warrior's brand colours with my illustration style, creating a cohesive system that brought clarity and warmth to strategic thinking.

I created a three-part visual narrative: an explorer at the mountain's base (the beginning), eight numbered icons marking the climb (the step-by-step journey), and the summit (when the goals are settled).
