I was asked by People editorial team to illustrate the entire 22nd issue of their magazine Ossigeno.
Spanning from the phenomenon of the super-rich to the general disdain towards environmentalists, the issue deals with the progressive fading of social causes and the rise of extreme rightwing policies across the West.

The original title for this article was “Socialism or Barbecue” and it deals with the rise of carnivore trends amongst the far-right and the scepticism towards vegan lifestyle. I took inspiration from the famous Vladimir Valikov’s astronaut Soviet poster (above) to create a parody of a carnivore celebrating meat. The text was changed from “Glory to the Soviet people, pioneers of space!” to “Meat! Man was born to eat animals”.
