I illustrated a beer coaster for local brewery Birra Galassia as part of a competition by VivaComix. The given theme, “Close Encounters”, led me to imagine a whimsical scene: an astronaut and an alien clinking beers at a pub counter, a universal gesture of connection reinterpreted in space.

Birra Galassia is known for its bold, imaginative, and eye-catching aesthetic. This illustration echoes those values through a vibrant colour palette, cosmic setting, and humorous twist. 

The design turns a small surface into a playful narrative moment that stands out visually and emotionally.
